 Tuesday, March 16, 2021 I carry out my English practice assignment and my selected exercises to teach my nephew the names of the days and numbers in English.

To explain some new things to someone requires attention and patience in providing materials, especially for my nephew who is still sitting on the Kindergarten bench. For him, memorizing new material was difficult because it was foreign to his appearance.

My initial teaching was very difficult and required complete patience to teach, but in the end I searched and found suitable teaching methods to facilitate teaching, trying out some of the things that I found easy and could be understood by my nephews.

My first teaching method tried to get my brother to read it over and over again but it turned out to be insufficient because I had to know the right type of rote for my brother because there are some in human memorization. : visual, auditory, and kinesthetic.

I tried it because he likes to sing and listen to songs, then I tried to find it on the internet, today's song and numbers in English on youtube, after I found a song that was suitable to be sung and easy to remember I tried it on my nephew. And told him to write down the numbers he had memorized on paper.

It took 1 week for my nephew to memorize the song, even though it was very difficult in the presentation. But thanks to my efforts and my intention to teach him finally he can memorize even though he still doesn't fully memorize it.
